| Jessie wandered into our family on June 13th. Someone had thrown her out in our neighborhood (we get a lot of strays around here). She was covered with ticks & fleas and she was very under-nourished. After we got her cleaned up & fed, we tried to find out where she came from, but we didn't have any luck. We decided to keep her and took her to the vet for an exam. He guessed her age and we now celebrate her birthday on October 13th. We don't really know what breeds are in her either. The vet says she looks like she is a mixture of several different breeds. He thinks she has some fiest and some terrier in her and possibly a touch of sheperd (looking at her markings). She shouldnt get any bigger than she already is. |
