Katie Michelle Paschal
Born: July 4, 1995

Katie Katie is our second child. Although most people don't consider pets as children, our dogs will always be our kids. God has decided that we do not need children at this time and if that is His will, that's good enough for me. We both love children, but until God wants us to have some, we have to make our family anyway we can.

As you can tell by the photos, Katie is a full blooded dachshund. She weighs in at around 20 pounds and is a couple of pounds overweight. We would like her to weigh between 15-18 pounds so her back won't start bothering her so soon. She used to be scared of her own shadow, but since Dixie died she feels like she has to protect us from anything that moves. She has acquired several of Dixie's old habits that she never did before. She barks alot more often than she used to and she also likes to chase birds & squirrels now.

She has adapted to her new sisters quite well. Dixie did not like it when we brought Katie home for the first time, but Katie seems to be getting along great with Libby and Jessie. They play together all the time & sometimes when they're sleeping, Libby will rest her head on Katie.
