Recipe: Yakitori From: Rose Paschal

(Prepare sauce ahead and let cool)

Combine 1 cup shoyu sauce
1/4 tsp Accent
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbs. sugar (to taste)
2/3 cup water

Cook together until it comes to a boil, add 1/2 Tbs corn starch and cook until thickened.

Put on skivers, small pieces of marinated meat (marinated several hours in shoyu or Teriyaki sauce) alternate meat, onion, meat, green pepper, meat, mushrooms, meat, or in any desired combination. Broil about 15 minutes, (place in oblong pan) baste with sauce, broil again for about 5 minutes, rotate and baste again and broil for about 5 minutes more.
